A case of gangrape and murder of a third class girl has come to light in Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh. Police have made three minor students of the girl’s school accused. The students killed the girl after gangraping her. To destroy the evidence, the body was thrown into the canal. The body has not been found yet.

The girl was 8 years old. The age of the two accused boys is 12 years. Both study in class 6. The third accused is 13 years old and studies in class 7.

Took the girl away on the pretext of playing
According to the police, the incident is said to have happened on Sunday (7 July) evening. At the time of the incident, the girl was playing in a park in Pagdiyala. During this time, the accused students took her to a secluded place on the pretext of playing and committed the crime. Fearing that the girl might tell her parents about the incident, the accused children killed her and fled from the spot after throwing the body in a nearby canal.

The help of sniffer dogs was taken
Police conducted a search operation in the backwaters of Krishna river. Police said that the girl was missing since July 7. She had gone to play in a park near her house but did not return even after a long time. The parents searched for her for a long time but failed. Later they lodged a complaint.

Initially, even the police could not find out about the accused. After this, on July 9, the help of sniffer dogs was taken. Three minor boys living in the village were seen behaving abnormally. One of the three accused boys confessed about the crime. After this, two others were also arrested.
