The TV show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ is counted among the most famous comedy shows on television. This show has been on air continuously for more than ten years. Shilpa Shinde played the role of Angoori Bhabhi in the show for the first time in the year 2015. However, she parted ways with the show within a year. After this, this role went to Shubhangi Atre, who played the role of Angoori Bhabhi for almost ten years.

Now Shilpa Shinde is going to enter the show once again in the role of Angoori Bhabhi. Recently, Shilpa commented about Shubhangi Atre in an interview given to Telechakkar.

Shilpa Shinde said, “As an actor, I had also expressed my views at the time when the controversy was going on. Frankly speaking, she (Shubhangi) has done a good job. She is a good actress, but comedy is not everyone’s cup of tea. It is very difficult for someone else to get into the same character after someone else. There is a lot of pressure on her too.”

He further said, “No matter how well I act, if an actress has to be copied, she gets copied.”

The new season of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain will air from 22 December 2025.

Saurabh reacted to Shilpa’s statement

Actor Saurabh Raj Jain reacted to this statement of Shilpa. He targeted Shilpa through Instagram story without taking her name. He wrote, “The actor who was replaced entertained the audience for about 10 years and gained people’s love. When the first actor returns to the same character after 10 years and tells the media that the second one did not have comic timing, then the problem is not timing, but basic decency.”

Saurabh further wrote in his story that he has shared this post for learning. According to him, humility is most important, everything else is temporary.

Here, talking to Bombay Times about her decision to leave the show, Shubhangi Atre had said, “I am ending this game of replacement right here. When Shilpa left the show, it felt as if she had handed me a newborn child. I raised her for 10 years and now I am returning her with good values.
