Sunil said- The body was brought out through the forest. Police had received information about the incident at around 10:30 am on June 18. The rescue operation continued till 12:30 pm and the body was transported in an ambulance at around 1:30 pm.

Ketan’s father said – Siya was suspected on the day of the incident itself.

According to Ketan’s father Vishal Agarwal, the family had become suspicious of Siya Goyal on the day of the incident. When the female policeman present at the spot said that Ketan was still alive. He should be taken to the hospital immediately, then Siya’s expression changed. After this Siya did not even answer the family’s questions.

Chetan’s father told Dainik Bhaskar that on June 18, he had received a call from Sia’s mother that Ketan had fallen from Lohgarh Fort. When the family reached the spot, Ketan had already been pulled out of the ditch. He saw that Ketan’s mouth was tied. He was identified by opening his face.

Actually, Sia and Ketan had gone to visit Lohgarh Fort in Pune on June 18. During this time, Ketan died after falling into the ditch. Sia along with her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary is accused of murdering her fiance. Both are in police custody and are being interrogated.

Aunt took Siya away, then the family’s suspicions deepened.

Ketan’s sister asked Siya where she was sitting, how Ketan fell and how he reached that side of the fort. Siya did not answer any question. Even his crying seemed artificial to the family.

When she came to their house the next day, the family still asked which leg of Ketan had slipped, but she remained silent. During the question-answer session, Siya’s aunt, who arranged the marriage, took her away from there, saying “You go, go.” After this the family’s suspicions deepened.

Sia Goyal and Ketan Aggarwal got engaged in November 2025. Both their families were preparing for the wedding.

The family saw the CCTV, then informed the police

Vishal Aggarwal told that the same evening the family sat and discussed the entire incident. His daughter said that something did not seem right. The family pieced together the entire incident and examined the CCTV footage of the society. The footage showed that Siya was not even crying while returning. As suspicion grew, the family informed the police.

Vishal Aggarwal said that Ketan was not aware of Sia’s affair. However, he became suspicious several times when he found Sia’s phone constantly busy. He had also asked the family whether complete information about Siya had been taken.

The family assured him that the relatives had done a thorough investigation. After this he did not talk about it again. He said that if Sia’s affair was known then this relationship would never have been finalized.

Siya-Chetan deleted the chat

According to the police, accused Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary had deleted the chat history of their mobiles before and after the murder. Both of them had also emptied the recycle bin. Mobile forensic labs of both have been sent to recover the data.

Police searched Sia’s call records. On one of these mobile numbers, from January till 7 am on the day of Ketan’s murder, Sia had talked for about 338 hours in 2004 calls, that is, both of them used to talk for about 2 hours in 11 calls every day.

This number belonged to Chetan Choudhary, a boy from another businessman family from Pune. Chetan’s house was in the same area of ​​Pune where Sia’s father’s office is.

Police claim- murder due to wig and stammering

According to the police, during interrogation, Siya told that she did not like Ketan’s wig and stammering. For this reason he conspired to murder. However, according to Ketan’s father, Sia and her family were informed about Ketan’s wig even before the marriage was finalized.

Siya’s mother Pooja Goyal said – her daughter was happy about the marriage.

Sia’s father Praveen said that Sia herself had said that she should get her married to Ketan. It was Ketan who had called Siya and asked her to go to Lohgarh Fort. He was the one who brought the car. Ketan Siya loved each other very much. Once Ketan came home at 4 in the morning to meet Sia.

Sia’s parents spoke to the media on this case for the first time on Thursday. The father said that Ketan and Siya were in love with each other.

Sia-Chetan met in the cafe before Ketan’s murder

Siya insisted Ketan to go to Lohgarh Fort again on 4th June. Ketan did not agree. On June 6, tickets for Ketan, his sister, a friend and Sia were booked to go to Bali, Indonesia. According to Pune Police, to avoid going to Bali, Sia hid Ketan’s passport.

June 14: Second attempt, pushed, but Ketan survived

Siya asked Ketan to go to the fort again. According to the police, both reached the fort on June 14. Siya pushed Ketan. But Ketan was saved due to the support of a tree. He asked- Why did you push? Siya said, ‘There was a snake, I pushed you to save you from it.’ Ketan came home and told everyone that his life was saved because of Sia.

June 18: Pushed with boyfriend in third attempt

To celebrate Sia’s birthday on June 19, Ketan had booked a luxury resort in Mahabaleshwar. Before that, Sia convinced Ketan to go to Lohgarh Fort by talking about pre-wedding photoshoot. This time Chetan was also following behind. At one place, when Ketan was looking towards the hills, both of them pushed him from behind.
