This Blue Screen is also called the Blue Screen of Death, in which the computer automatically goes into restart mode after the browser system crashes and this event is so unexpected that it is considered equivalent to death and this is what has happened in the world.

The MICROSOFT server brought the world’s IT systems and computers to a standstill and the server crash caused chaos in over 40 countries, including the US, the UK, France, Germany, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India, and the biggest impact was felt on air services.

More than 2 thousand flights canceled across the world

You can guess the power of the server from the fact that due to this, more than 2 thousand flights were cancelled across the world, out of which the maximum 500 flights were cancelled in America and more than 50 flights were cancelled in India. Apart from this, rail and metro services were affected in many countries. Banking services came to a halt. Even ATMs and many TV channels were shut down in countries like Germany and Britain.

Many channels were shut down

The IT operations of Paris Olympics came to a halt due to the failure of just one server. Britain’s famous news channel Sky News was off air for three hours, while a TV channel named CBBC in Britain was shut down for some time. Non-emergency operations were cancelled in German hospitals. Services of the world’s largest container terminal in Poland were disrupted.

in Britain National Rail’s IT system down

In Britain, the IT system of National Rail shut down. Ticketing platform services came to a halt in many European countries. The computer network of New Zealand’s Parliament crashed. In Australia, computers and laptops of many supermarkets stopped working. ATM and card payment services stopped working in many countries. Stock exchange services in London came to a halt and work in many big companies in Hyderabad and Bangalore cities of India also came to a halt. Among these, air services were the most affected by this crisis.

How was the impact in India?

There has been no impact on rail services in India and banking services have also not been affected much and India’s IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the Government of India is in constant touch with Microsoft and a response team of the government will soon issue a new technology advisory in this matter, which will be especially for those private companies whose work was halted due to this incident and most of these companies are from Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Gurugram.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that an update from CrowdStrike has affected IT systems around the world. He said that our company is aware of this issue and is working closely with CrowdStrike and the entire industry to resolve it.
