Famous actor of Bollywood and TV industry, Satish Shah has passed away at the age of 74. There is a wave of mourning in the industry. Satish Shah and Rajesh Kumar Was part of the show ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’. Rajesh played the role of Rochesh Sarabhai. Satish Shah was seen in the role of his father Indravadan Sarabhai. Rajesh has written in his note that he saw Satish as a father in real life. Rajesh has also requested the fans to pray for Satish.

Rajesh wrote- This is a very difficult time for me. I am still not able to process that Satish ji is no more in this world. For now I can only say that Satish ji was like a father to me, whom I have lost. He was a person full of humor and life. He has challenged everything.

As an actor, he made a name for himself and has now left an impression on people. This is a huge, huge loss for the industry. And also for our Sarabhai family. We all should pray for him. I would request all of you to make them a part of your prayers.

Satish worked in many film-TV shows
Satish Shah got recognition from the famous TV show ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’. He was born in Mandvi, Gujarat. After studying from Xavier College, Satish studied from the Film and Television Institute of India.

In 1972, Satish married designer Madhu Shah. Actor started his career Bollywood Was done with the film ‘Lord Parshuram’. After this, he was seen in films like ‘Arvind Desai Ki Ajeeb Dastan’, ‘Gaman’, ‘Umrao Jaan’, ‘Shakti’, ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’, ‘Vikram Betaal’.

Then in the year 1984, Satish entered the world of TV. He did the sitcom ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’. Satish played 55 different characters in 55 episodes of this show. After this, he played the role of Prakash in the show ‘Filmi Chakkar’ in 1995 and also worked in ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’. In both ‘Filmi Chakkar’ and ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, he was paired with actress Ratna Pathak Shah.
