On November 10, there was firing between the army and terrorists for several hours in the same forest of Srinagar.
The encounter started again on Monday night after 22 days in Srinagar, Central Kashmir, which continued till late night.
The terrorists first opened fire on the search party of the security forces in Harwan forest of Srinagar. As soon as the soldiers reached near the suspicious spot, heavy firing started on them from the terrorists.
The soldiers also retaliated. The army said that there is a possibility of 2 to 3 terrorists hiding. Security forces have cordoned off the area.
After the encounter started, more soldiers were called from the headquarters for the ongoing encounter in the Harwan forest. There was an encounter in the same forest 22 days ago, when the terrorists managed to escape.
The encounter was then called off after several hours of firing. There was a suspicion that 2-3 terrorists were hiding in the encounter of 10th November.
The soldiers had also cordoned off the area after the encounter on 10 November.
Harwan forest is connected to Pulwama of South Kashmir.
The forest of Harwan is also connected to the Tral forest of Pulwama in South Kashmir. It is feared that the terrorists had reached Harwan forest from this area. On November 10, the terrorist managed to escape from the encounter. Even after several hours of operation, the security forces could not find the location of the terrorists.

Kashmir IGP VK Birdi had said that 2 terrorists have been killed in this operation. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition and incriminating documents were recovered from them.
- November 7- Jaish terrorists killed 2 village guards: Terrorists had killed 2 village defense guards in Adhwari area of Kishtwar. Police had told that the village defense guard who had gone to graze cattle in Munjala Dhar forest was kidnapped by the terrorists and shot at him.
- The deceased were identified as Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar, village defense guards of Ohli-Kuntwada. On Friday, the bodies of both were found lying near a drain in Pondagwari area of Keshawan belt.
- November 5- Encounter in Bandipora: Police and army personnel conducted the search operation. One terrorist was killed in the encounter.
- 3 November- Grenade blast in Sunday market of Srinagar: The blast occurred near the tourist reception centre. 12 people were injured in this. Immediately after the incident, the entire area was cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Killings and target killings of non-Kashmiris also increased in the valley.
Intelligence agencies had told that target killing is a new conspiracy of Pakistan to spread unrest in Kashmir. It is believed that its purpose is to sabotage the plans for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370.
Since the abrogation of Article 370, incidents of target killing have increased in Kashmir, in which terrorists have especially targeted Kashmiri Pandits, migrant workers and even local Muslims working in the government or police, whom they consider to be a threat to India. Considered close to.
