For the first time in America, the signature of a sitting President will be on the dollar note. President Donald Trump’s signature will soon appear on American currency. This decision has been taken by the US Treasury. Trump’s signature will be on the note along with the signature of Treasury Secretary Scott Besant. Dollar notes were introduced in 1861. From then till now, the signature of any sitting President has not appeared on the currency. This change is being made on the occasion of completion of 250 years of America’s independence. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant said that under Trump’s leadership, America is moving towards economic strength and stability. There can be no better way to recognize the country’s achievements than having the President’s name on the dollar note. Earlier this month, a Federal Arts Commission approved the design of a 24-karat gold commemorative coin bearing Trump’s image. This coin will also be released on the occasion of completion of 250 years of America’s independence.
