US President Trump may order ground action against Iran. According to the report of American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, Trump wants to take possession of the uranium possessed by Iran. Iran has about 400 kg of enriched uranium, which can be used to make nuclear bombs. Trump has told his aides that Iran will have to give up this uranium. If talks do not work out, it can also be taken forcefully. Meanwhile, the US is planning to send about 10,000 additional troops to the Middle East. Of these, more than 3,500 soldiers have already reached there.

More than 3,500 American troops reached the Middle East on March 28. Of these, 2500 were marine soldiers.

Iran very close to making nuclear weapons

Uranium is a substance from which nuclear energy and also nuclear bombs can be made. The only difference is how much it has been enriched or purified.

Natural uranium contains very little work, so it is purified slowly through machines (centrifuges). This process is called ‘Uranium Enrichment’.

Uranium was not completely destroyed even after the attacks

It is believed that Iran’s large nuclear stockpile is buried under the debris of the mountain bases that were targeted by the US in the bombings. According to IAEA chief Rafael Grossi, this uranium could be at sites like Isfahan’s underground tunnel and Natanz.

Trump had earlier claimed that Iran’s nuclear program was completely destroyed in the attacks, but now it is believed that much of the uranium was not destroyed but buried under the debris. Iran’s Foreign Minister said that most of the uranium is buried under the debris and there is no plan to extract it. Also, Iran still has machines with which it can further purify uranium and also create new secret bases.

Trump wants to avoid a long war

Iran’s Foreign Minister also said that almost 60% of the enriched uranium is buried under the debris and there is no plan to extract it.

The report also said that Iran still has centrifuge machines to further enrich uranium and may also build new underground bases.

Trump and some of his allies believe that this nuclear material can be captured through a limited and targeted operation, due to which the war will not drag on and it can be ended by mid-April.

Trump himself wants to avoid a long war, as some of his allies want him to focus on domestic issues and the upcoming elections, where the Republican Party is said to be in danger of losing.

Expert said- sending soldiers to Iran is dangerous

Experts consider Trump’s plan to start a ground operation to acquire uranium as difficult and dangerous. He says that for this a large number of American soldiers will have to be sent inside Iran. This will increase bloodshed and many American soldiers will die.

The troops must first secure the area, where they may face missile and drone attacks from Iran. After this, engineers will remove the debris and clear the landmines and traps.

After finding the uranium, the special forces team will take it out. It has been told that this material can be kept in 40 to 50 special cylinders, which look like oxygen cylinders.

These cylinders will be put in safe containers and transported in trucks. This will require a lot of space and may require several trucks. After this, an airfield will be needed to take it out. If there is no airfield there, a temporary runway will have to be built. The entire operation may last several days or a week.

If America tries to forcibly take possession of uranium, there could be a strong retaliatory attack from Iran and the war could extend beyond several weeks.

Iran said – will not stop uranium enrichment: We cannot be made to do anything by threatening, America’s intentions cannot be trusted

In January, Iran strongly rejected US pressure and said that it would not give up its uranium enrichment program under any circumstances, even if it receives military threats or new sanctions are imposed.

At a public event in Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had said that Iran’s nuclear policy cannot be changed by threatening it and we do not trust America’s intentions.

The statement came at a time when talks between Iran and the US resumed in Oman. Read the full news…
