The video of the Brazilian model whose photo was shown by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in his press conference on Wednesday has surfaced on social media. Several X accounts posted a video of her, claiming that the woman’s name was Larissa.

Speaking in Portuguese, the Brazilian woman said in the video – I have nothing to do with Indian politics. My photo is purchased from a stock image platform. That photo is from my early modeling days, when I was 18 or 20.

The woman claimed that she is no longer a model. She said- My photo was used without permission. I have never even been to India. They are calling me an Indian to cheat people. What madness! What kind of madness is this, what kind of world are we living in?
