Had decided to give up fees: According to trade estimates, Ranveer Singh had given up his regular fees for the film ‘Dhurandhar’. He had decided to share the profits with the makers. When the budget of the film increased, Ranveer himself invested money in the project. After the film’s earnings, he has now received Rs 325 crore as a share of theatrical collection, digital, satellite and music rights. Both the films earned Rs 3100 crore. Both parts of ‘Dhurandhar’ have made a gross collection of Rs 3100 crore worldwide. In India alone, the net collection of the film has been more than Rs 1900 crore. Jio Studios has got the largest share of the film’s profit, followed by Aditya Dhar’s B62 Studios. However, Ranveer has the highest share in the cast. These figures have not been officially confirmed yet by the actors or makers. Left behind Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan, before Ranveer Singh, the record of highest earning in India was in the name of South superstar Rajinikanth. He had earned more than Rs 250 crore for the film ‘Jailor’ released in the year 2024. At the same time, this record in Bollywood was in the name of Shahrukh Khan, who had earned around Rs 200 crore each from the films ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan’ in 2023. Apart from these, Allu Arjun had taken a fee of more than Rs 200 crore for ‘Pushpa 2’ and Prabhas had taken a fee of more than Rs 200 crore for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Now Ranveer has gone ahead with Rs 325 crore. The journey from Rs 1 crore to Rs 325 crore: The fee graph of stars in Indian cinema has changed rapidly in the last few decades. In the 90s, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan and Sridevi were the first stars who started charging Rs 1 crore for a film. In the decade that followed, all three Khans (Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir) took this figure much higher. In the last few years, South cinema stars like Yash and Allu Arjun started charging up to Rs 200 crores. In the year 2026, Ranveer Singh has again brought Bollywood to the first position in this matter.
