Singer Sonu Nigam has denied his fake statement on actress Kriti Sanon’s Rakshabandhan ad controversy. While sharing a screenshot of a media report, Sonu Nigam clarified that he has not given any reaction in this matter.

Controversy due to dress and pet dog in ad
This whole controversy started after the Rakshabandhan ad of a jewelery brand. In this, Kriti was seen in Indo-Western bralette style blouse. In the video, apart from her brother, she was also seen tying Rakhi to her pet dog.
Many people on social media had expressed their displeasure over the actress’s clothes, calling it an insult to Indian culture and demanded to lodge a complaint.
Some users termed this advertisement as insensitive towards Hindu religion and festivals. While posting on X, a user wrote that a case should be registered against the actress for wrongly portraying the holy festival of Rakshabandhan and hurting religious sentiments.
