After meeting the nurse, Falgun said, ‘I was very happy to meet her. It was an unforgettable experience to meet the woman who gave me my identity. Why did the mother abandon 3-day-old Phalgun? Nagpur Municipality Commissioner Abhijeet Chaudhary helped in finding the documents related to Phalgun’s birth. The documents revealed that Falgun’s mother was a 21-year-old unmarried woman who could not raise him due to fear of the society. So she left him in the shelter home. The names of Falgun and his mother are mentioned in the documents. However, Falgun has not made his mother’s name public. Matri Seva Sangh is a shelter home built for orphan children and distressed women. According to shelter home officials, unmarried mothers often leave their newborn children here. Falgun, who came to India for the first time in 2006, grew up in the Netherlands to a Dutch couple. He realized at an early age that his roots were in India. In his childhood, he did not know much about India, but as he grew up, a desire to meet his mother began to arise in his mind. Phalgun came to India for the first time in 2006, when he was 18 years old. He traveled to South India and ate various dishes there. According to media reports, he started feeling connected to Indian culture after coming to India for the first time. Phalgun felt that he had known the places and people of India for a long time. Falgun said – I think mother would also want to meet me. When Falgun was asked how he would feel after meeting his mother, he said that I would feel exactly the same as a mother would feel after meeting her child after 40 years.
