On the first Monday of the month of Sawan in Auraiya of UP, an example was seen which made people emotional. The two sons of Kannauj resolved to worship Lord Shiva with the wish of their sick mother’s health and completed the 121 -km Kavad Yatra barefoot for the long life and health benefits of the mother. Both brothers along with their friends took Ganga water from Kannauj and reached Auraiya’s famous Devakali temple on foot. Here, by performing Jalabhishek on Lord Shankar, he wished the mother’s health. The special thing is that he decided this whole journey barefoot, which is also a very difficult task for a common devotee.
