A 37-year-old man died after falling from the fourth floor poolside at Delhi’s Le Meridien hotel on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Divij Maria. According to the police, information about the incident was received by Sansad Marg police station on August 25. Police said that after the accident, Divij was immediately taken to RML Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. After the incident, the crime team reached the spot, investigated and collected necessary evidence. The body has been kept in the hospital for postmortem. Initial investigation has revealed that Divij had left his job in a corporate company in Gurugram about 6 months ago. According to the police, information received from the family also revealed that he was undergoing treatment for depression for the last few months. He was married and lived in New Delhi. Police have started investigation under section 194 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS). The investigation is ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the death.
