Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) local leader Chintalpati Madhu was murdered in Suryapet district of Telangana. According to the police, the pieces of his body were packed in a sack and thrown under a culvert near the highway. Madhu was missing since Friday evening, after which his wife lodged a complaint.
Police suspect that the murder was committed due to old enmity. It is being told that people known to Madhu had called her on some pretext. He had earlier also been a key witness in a murder case. The police is investigating the matter

Mid-day meal will be available in junior colleges of Telangana
The Telangana government has approved starting the mid-day meal scheme for class 11th and 12th students in all junior colleges in the state. Besides, a decision has also been taken to build 2.5 lakh houses in the second phase of Indiramma Housing Scheme.
The Cabinet also approved construction of one lakh houses for LIG category in Hyderabad region and new Life Sciences Policy. The government aims to include Telangana among the top-5 life sciences hubs of the world by 2030.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke on phone to the family of NEET student Pradeep Meghwal from Rajasthan. The student committed suicide after the paper was leaked and the exam was cancelled.
The family told that they had taken a loan of Rs 11 lakh for their son’s education. Rahul Gandhi assured the family of justice and all possible help. NSUI has announced financial assistance of Rs 11 lakh to the family.
