A car collided with an IndiGo plane at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. The incident took place in parking bay number 51 of the airport, where the plane was parked.
According to reports, the catering vehicle suddenly moved forward and collided with the plane’s engine, causing minor damage to the plane.
After the incident the aircraft has been grounded for investigation. It is being maintained. This flight was going from Kolkata to Guwahati. The passengers have been sent on another flight.
IndiGo said that the concerned authorities have been informed and investigation into the matter is underway. The airline is fully cooperating in the investigation.
