Delhi-Halwara flight returned after technical glitch, landing in second attempt

Passengers of Air India flight AI-481, which departed from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport for Halwara on Saturday morning, had to face difficulties twice in the same journey. The plane was returned to Delhi as a precautionary measure when a technical glitch occurred about 15 minutes after takeoff. After this, passengers were flown by another plane, but on reaching Halwara, landing could not be done for the first time due to bad weather.

The pilot landed the plane safely in the second attempt, due to which all the passengers heaved a sigh of relief. According to the information, flight AI-481 had left from Delhi at 5:55 am on Saturday. On receiving indications of a technical fault, the pilot, following safety standards, landed the plane safely at Delhi airport at around 7 am. Air India transferred all the passengers to another plane and left for Halwara again at around 9 am.
