In the Pisawa police station area of Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, Pooja Mishra, a mother of two children who was in love with her nephew, tried to cut her wrist vein in front of the police. This incident happened in Qutub Nagar police station. The police had called the woman and her nephew to resolve the dispute. Nephew Alok Mishra refused to continue the relationship, after which the woman cut her wrist with a blade.
The police admitted the woman to the hospital, where she is undergoing treatment and her condition is out of danger.
Pooja Mishra is originally from Delhi and was married to Lalit Kumar Mishra, who works in Ghaziabad. Lalit had called his nephew Alok Mishra to help him in his work, then a love affair developed between Pooja and Alok. When her husband found out, Alok was sent away, but Pooja left the children and went to Bareilly with Alok.

When husband Lalit Kumar Mishra came to know about the love affair between Pooja and Alok, he chased Alok away from there. After this, Pooja Mishra left her two children and went to Bareilly with Alok. Both of them lived together for about seven months in Bareilly, where Alok used to drive an auto. During this time there was a rift between Pooja and Alok.

Denial in love, drama in police post
After a dispute, Alok returned to his native village. Sitapur K Madhiya returned. When Pooja came to know that Alok wanted to leave her, she also reached Sitapur. He approached Qutub Nagar police post of Pisawa police station area to solve the matter. During talks to resolve the dispute in front of the police, Alok Mishra refused to continue his relationship with Pooja, after which Pooja cut her wrist with a blade.
Police provided treatment, investigation is ongoing
The incident of cutting the vein by Pooja created a stir in the police post. The police immediately admitted the woman to the hospital, where she is undergoing treatment. According to the Pisawa police station, after the incident of cutting the vein of the woman, no application has been received from any party yet. The police will continue the investigation in the same manner as the case brought to its notice earlier.
