Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee said on Thursday that he has no connection with any political party. This statement came after one of his videos went viral on X, which has now been deleted.

Manoj Bajpayee wrote in his X post, “I want to say publicly that I have no connection or support with any political party. This video is fake. This is an edited version of my Prime Video ad.”

He further appealed that people should stop sharing such wrong and edited videos and not promote it.

The video was posted by a parody account in the name of RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav. In the video it was shown that Manoj is supporting the party.

It is noteworthy that recently many Bollywood actors and singers have approached the court to protect their personality and publicity rights.

Personality rights or publicity rights are the right to control and protect one’s image, name or look.

This week, the Delhi High Court protected Hrithik Roshan’s personality and publicity rights and ordered the removal of some objectionable posts.

At the same time, earlier the court had also secured the personality rights of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar and Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna.
