42 year old Bajendra Biswas was a security guard in a textile factory.
A Hindu employee was shot dead inside a garment factory in Mymensingh district of Bangladesh. This is the third incident of murder of a Hindu in Bangladesh in the last 12 days.
The incident took place at Sultana Sweaters Limited factory in Bhaluka upazila at around 6:45 pm on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Bajendra Biswas (42), who was a security guard at the factory. The accused Noman Mia (29) has been arrested by the police.
According to police and eyewitnesses, both were deployed on security duty in the factory. During the conversation, Noman Mia pointed the government shotgun at Bajendra. Within moments, the gun went off and the bullet hit Bajendra’s left thigh, killing him.

Bajendra was taken to Bhaluka Upazila Health Center in critical condition, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Third Hindu murdered in 12 days A Hindu youth was beaten to death at 11:00 pm on Wednesday, 24 December. The incident took place in Hosendanga village of Rajbari district. According to the police, the deceased was identified as 29-year-old Amrit Mandal alias Samrat.
Police said that Amrit was killed by the mob on charges of extortion. He was a resident of Hosendanga village. Police said that two cases are registered against Amrit in Pangsha police station. These also include a murder case.
Earlier on December 18, Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das was killed by a mob near Dhaka. Later he was burnt by hanging him on a tree.

In a video, it is seen that the mob set fire to the dead body of Dipu Chandra. People present nearby kept making videos from mobiles.
Dipu Das murdered on false charges of blasphemy
A big revelation came to light in a case related to the violence that took place late night on 18th December in Bangladesh. A Hindu youth, Dipu Chandra Das, lost his life in this violence. Investigation has revealed that no evidence was found for the claim on the basis of which the mob attacked.
In fact, it was being alleged on social media that Dipu Chandra Das had made such comments on Facebook, which hurt religious sentiments. But investigating agencies say that till now no evidence of any such post or comment has been found.
Bangladesh’s Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) company commander Mohammad Shamsuzzaman told Bangladeshi newspaper ‘The Daily Star’ that the investigation has not found any evidence to prove that Dipu Das had posted any objectionable or inciting religious sentiments content on Facebook.
So far 12 people have been arrested in this case. Security agencies are investigating all aspects related to the incident and are also trying to find out who spread the rumor and how, after which the situation turned violent.
