A hotel in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka was stirred up on Saturday after the body of a big officer of the American Special Forces Command was found. The name of this officer was Terence Arvel Jackson.

Indian intelligence agencies have also expressed concern over the matter. She is investigating the matter deeply. However, India has not made any official comments on the matter.

Media reports quoted Bangladesh intelligence agencies as saying that Jackson was in Dhaka for several months and stayed at Westin Hotel on 29 August. But what was the real purpose of his journey is not clear.

His body was handed over to the US embassy without postmortem or investigation, which raises many questions. India wants to know who Jackson met in Bangladesh and which places went.

Indian officials are monitoring the matter

Indian intelligence agencies have considered Jackson’s death a serious issue for regional security. Indian officials are keeping an eye on who people met in Jackson Dhaka and what was their activity.

The recent political changes in Bangladesh and the increasing presence of American activity in the region have further increased India’s concerns. Indian agencies suspect that Jackson’s presence may be related to the ongoing activity on the Bangladesh-Myanmar border.

Jackson was around 50 years old and hails from North Carolina. He worked in the US Army for over 20 years and participated in several wars. An Indian intelligence officer told the media that Jackson joined the army in 2006 and was scheduled to retire soon.
