Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt came to Udaipur at around 2 pm on Monday. He brought back many memories related to his life. Said that 54 years ago, when we came to Udaipur to shoot a film with our guru, we have to our Guru film director Raj Khosla

Today I got a chance to stay in the same hotel room. This room may have changed, but my memories are still associated with it. We used to move from here to Chirwa village of Udaipur.
Mahesh Bhatt and music director Anu Malik came to Udaipur with the premiere of the upcoming film Tu Meri Pahani Kahani. The movie will be released on 26 September 2025. He was present among the public at a night event after the premiere on Monday. He reinforced his memories related to Udaipur here. During this, Anu Malik was also with him.
During this, Mahesh Bhatt said that it is in 1971 when my country my village movie was being shot in Udaipur. Our Guru used to stay at Lakshmi Vilas Hotel (The Lalit) of Udaipur. Bhatt told that then I was an assistant director. We would go to Lakshmi Vilas Hotel in the morning and pick up the director in this room and say that we have to go for shooting.

New era artists are starting from here
Bhatt said that today I came to Udaipur and in the same hotel I found a room in which we used to come to awaken them. It is a coincidence that I am staying in our Guru’s room. Today I realized that the newly -era artists are also starting from here today.
He said that after the arrival of smart phones, there has been a revolution, the entire structure of cinema has changed, technology has changed, style has changed, but films, songs go on which are made from the heart and do not change like weather. A lot has changed but the heart of man is the same centuries old and we are connected to it.
Technology changed in first and today’s movie, the heart is the same
On the question of films of that era and today’s films, I believe that man’s heart is centuries old, just technology keeps changing. When the matter comes out of the heart, it reaches the heart. Annu’s music has created a panic because the noise of the songs of today has made films with a silence in that noise.
The film Mera Mera Mera Mera Desh Ki Chairwa village was shot
Bhatt worked in ‘Mera Village Mera Desh’ as Assistant Director. Dharmendra and Asha Parekh were in this movie. Vinod Khanna played the role of Villain. The movie was shot in Chirwa village located on the tunnel on Udaipur to Nathdwara Road. Film director Khosla worked in this movie by Assistant Director Bhatt and since then he has considered Khosla as his guru. During this, everyone also interacted with the media.
Anu Malik said- Bhatt Saheb had tears in his eyes
Music director Anu Malik also spoke in the program and narrated many memoirs related to the film ‘Tu Meri Paar Kahani’. Earlier in Mumbai, Anu Malik has said that my relationship with Bhatt Saheb is of a previous birth, whether or not, for the songs of this film, his calls for the songs of this film increased a different enthusiasm and heartbeat in me. I realized that this is the same time when the world left me, but Bhatt Saheb gave me a lifeline. After hearing the story, when I recorded the first song, Bhatt Saheb stood in front of me and said, ‘Track on.’ I closed my eyes. When he heard the song, he had tears in his eyes. Udaipur connection of the film ‘Tu Meri Poor Kahani’
The upcoming film Tu Meri Poori Kahani will be released on 26 September 2025. The film is directed by Suhrita Das. At the same time, the story is written by Mahesh Bhatt and Shweta Bothra and the music was given by Anu Malik. The lead actors include Hiranya Ojha, Arhan Patel. Its filmmaker is Dr. Ajay Murdia from social worker and IVF expert. The entire starcast of the film was also present in the presence of Bollywood veteran Mahesh Bhatt and Anu Malik at the event held at PVR, Celebration Mall in Udaipur.
The film has more than 10 songs with mail and female versions. These songs include the voice of singers like Papon, Raghav Chaitanya, Anandi Joshi, Vishal Mishra and Anmol Malik. Music director Anu Malik also narrated a song from the movie here.
