To make Kanji, you have to soak Sabudana for 2 to 3 hours, then boiling it and adding cumin, salt, lemon to it and consuming it also gives relief in period pain. Apart from this, mixing ghee, sugar and cumin powder and consuming it also gives relief.
According to the nutritionist, take a balanced diet as much as possible before periods. It would be good if you avoid fast food. As far as possible, stick to a high protein diet. Shilpa Mittal has advised to eat sattu paratha, paneer, pulses, beans, milk, curd to avoid weakness in such a situation. If you are eating non-veg, she has also advised to eat eggs, chicken and fish. Ghee, flaxseed, almonds, walnuts and chia seeds are also considered good in this. If you keep eating something healthy every 3-4 hours, you can get relief.
