On Thursday evening, PM flagged off e-buses in Kevadiya.
On the second day of his Gujarat tour, PM Narendra Modi will lay flowers at the Statue of Unity, the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, in Kevadiya on Friday at 8 am. After this he will be given the salute of the National Unity Day Parade. All the contingents participating in the parade will be led by women officers.
16 contingents including BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, SSB will participate in this parade. The parade will also include 16 medal winners of BSF and 5 Shaurya Chakra winners of CRPF in Operation Sindoor. The parade will be led by 100 members of the heralding team, while 9 band contingents and 4 school bands will play musical tunes in the parade.
It rained heavily in Kevadiya from morning till late evening on Thursday.
Due to bad weather, instead of helicopter, PM reached Kevadiya from Vadodara by road.
10 tableaux will also be presented Tableaux of many states will also be included. 10 tableaux will also be presented after the parade. These will include tableaux of NDRF, NSG, Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar, Puducherry, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Manipur, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand.
Flypast by Indian Air Force under Operation Suryakiran, Hell March by NSG, rifle drill by women squads of CRPF and Gujarat Police, dog show by BSF and motorcycle stunt show by Assam Police will also be special attractions.
11 hi-tech domes have been built for the convenience of the guests.
Two domes have also been built to house 1,400 police personnel.
Apart from 1,400 police personnel, 9 thousand guests will be present. About 9 thousand guests are going to be present in Ekta Nagar to celebrate National Unity Day 2025. In view of this, Gujarat Tourism has made arrangements here on a large scale.
For the convenience of the guests, Gujarat Tourism Department has built 11 hi-tech domes. Of these, seven domes have been built for guests, two domes for 1,400 police personnel and two for dining halls.
