Actor Paresh Rawal told that he was offered a role in Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Drishyam 3’, but he rejected the role. Paresh said that the script was very good, but he did not like the character he got.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Paresh said, “Yes, the producers approached me, but I didn’t think the role was right for me. It wasn’t fun reading about my role. The script is really good, but in any good script you need a role that excites you, otherwise it won’t be fun.”

Ajay Devgan and Shriya Saran will be in lead roles in the Hindi version of Drishyam 3. Abhishek Pathak will direct and Kumar Mangat will produce the film. The first part of Drishyam was released in 2015 and the second part in 2022. Whereas, the release date of ‘Drishyam 3’ has been fixed as October 2, 2026.
Let us tell you that both Bollywood films ‘Drishyam 1’ and ‘Drishyam 2’ were Hindi remakes of Malayalam films. The first ‘Drishyam’ (2013) was a remake of the Malayalam film. Whereas, ‘Drishyam 2’ (2022) was the remake of the 2021 Malayalam film ‘Drishyam 2’. Mohanlal played the lead role in both the Malayalam films. The Hindi version made some changes while maintaining the essence of the original story, such as adding new characters.
On the one hand, while Mohanlal has started shooting for the Malayalam film ‘Drishyam 3’, the shooting of Ajay Devgan’s film is also going to start soon.
