Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has earned Rs 750 crore worldwide in 4 days. Yesterday i.e. on Sunday the film earned Rs 114.85 crore in India. With this, the film broke the records of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ and RRR in terms of weekend earnings.
Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ had earned ₹287 crore in the 5-day extended weekend. Dhurandhar 2 has broken the opening weekend records of ‘Baahubali 2’ (₹591 crore), ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ (₹500 crore) and ‘RRR’ (₹470 crore).
Now it has become the second biggest opening weekend film of Indian cinema after ‘Pushpa 2’ (₹762 crore).
Made the biggest film of 2026
In just three days, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2026, beating ‘Border 2’ (₹470 crore). After Sunday’s collection, it has also crossed the lifetime collections of ‘Gadar 2’ (₹691 crore) and ‘Salaar’ (₹690 crore).
The film can earn ₹2,000 crore
Looking at this pace of the film, trade experts believe that it will easily cross the ₹1000 crore mark. If the film continues to hold its own on Monday, it could become the second Hindi film to touch the ₹2000 crore mark.
Dhurandhar also got great response
The first part of Dhurandhar performed brilliantly at the Indian as well as international box office. The film earned around Rs 1,307 crore worldwide. The gross collection of the film in India was Rs 1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately Rs 840 crore. At the same time, with the earning of Rs 894.49 crore, it became the highest grossing film in Hindi language.
The film Dhurandhar got tremendous response in foreign markets also. It did a business of about Rs 299.5 crore in overseas. Especially in America and Canada, the film left behind the record of ‘Baahubali 2’ by earning more than Rs 193.06 crore. Interestingly, the film achieved great success when it was not allowed to be released in Gulf countries. Apart from this, ‘Dhurandhar’ also became the highest grossing ‘A’ rated film of Indian cinema.
