A special screening was organized before the release of late actor Dharmendra’s last film ‘Ikkis’. This screening was organized by the actor’s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol at PVR Icon in Andheri area of Mumbai.
The entire Deol family was seen on this special occasion. Bobby Deol arrived to attend the screening with his entire family, whereas Sunny Deol was seen alone.
In the video that surfaced, Sunny was seen looking at his father’s photo. He also posed for the paparazzi and greeted them with folded hands. Dharmendra’s nephew Abhay Deol was also present on the spot.

The film’s heroines Simar Bhatia and Agastya Nanda were also present for the special screening. Agastya and Simar posed for paps with director Sriram Raghavan.

Ikkis is a war biopic, based on the true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal. Arun Khetrapal was India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra winner, who showed extraordinary bravery in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
In the film, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is playing the role of Arun Khetarpal, while Dharmendra is playing his father. The film Ikkis is directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.

Let us tell you that Dharmendra has written a poem for this film and also lent his voice to it. The name of this poem is “Aaj bhi ji karda ae, pind apne nu jaanwa”. Which means in Hindi that even today I feel like going to my village.
This poem shows the feelings and memories of a person towards his village. In this video, Dharmendra expresses in words his love for his village and his desire to return there.
