Veteran actor Dharmendra has passed away. The 89-year-old actor was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Monday due to difficulty in breathing, where he was put on ventilator as his condition was not stable.
According to a source close to Dainik Bhaskar, the 72 hours after admission were said to be extremely critical. According to a source close to the Deol family, Dharmendra’s daughters have already been called to Mumbai from abroad. Last night Sunny Deol was seen very emotional outside the hospital, while Bobby Deol has also left the shooting of Alpha and returned to Mumbai. Many Bollywood celebs including Shahrukh, Salman reached Breach Candy Hospital late on Monday night.
Sunny Deol appealed to avoid rumors
Late on Monday night, Sunny Deol’s team issued a statement regarding Dharmendra’s health, in which it was told that the actor’s health is now stable. According to the statement-
“Dharmendra ji’s condition is stable and under the observation of doctors. Further information will be shared from time to time. Please do not spread rumors regarding his health. Everyone is requested to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the privacy of the family.”
Hema Malini shared a post on Instagram, in which she wrote, ‘Dharmendra ji is in the hospital. Doctors are taking care of him. The family is with him. The actress has also asked everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of Dharmendra.
Bobby Deol left shooting and came to meet his father
Bobby Deol was shooting for the film Alpha, when he got information about his father’s health. He left the shooting and reached Mumbai and met his father late at night.

Before November 10, Dharmendra was also admitted to the hospital on October 31. Reporter Vicky Lalwani had posted that Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to difficulty in breathing. He was kept in ICU. He was discharged within a few hours after all his body parameters were fine.
Let us tell you that Dharmendra had undergone cornea transplant surgery in the beginning of this year. The transparent layer of his left eye i.e. the cornea was damaged, after which he had a cornea transplant (keratoplasty).
Dharmendra had complained of back pain, muscle strain and weakness several times between 2015-2020. He had to be admitted to the hospital due to back pain and fatigue.
