The department says that the maximum temperature on Wednesday may be around 31 degrees, while the minimum is expected to fall to 20 degrees. After this, the weather is likely to clear on April 10 and 11, due to which the temperature will gradually increase and the maximum temperature is expected to be between 33 to 34 degrees Celsius. At present, the movement of clouds and intermittent rains have brought great relief to the people from the scorching heat.

Rain and hailstorm in Himachal too

On the other hand, on Monday Himachal Pradesh It rained at many places. Kasauli has recorded the highest rainfall of 31.2 mm. Apart from this, 29.8 mm rainfall has been recorded in Dharampur, 29.5 mm in Sarahan, 25.8 mm in Jubbarhatti, 24 mm in Jogindernagar and 8 mm in Shimla.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla and Solan districts on Tuesday-Wednesday. The department has predicted that there is a possibility of hailstorm, thunder and lightning in these areas along with strong winds at a speed of 40-60 km per hour.

Apart from this, an alert has been issued regarding similar weather in Chamba and Sirmaur on Wednesday. Yellow alert continues in Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Solan and Sirmaur. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the impact of two active western disturbances, the wet spell will continue from April 6 to 9.

Heavy rain in Kolkata also

At the same time, due to the influence of western disturbance, the weather has become pleasant due to rain in Kolkata and surrounding areas. After the intense heat of the past few days, the temperature has dropped due to cloud cover and light rain, which has brought a lot of relief to the people.
