A sensational incident came to light in the Swaroop Nagar police station area of Outer North Delhi on Thursday. A woman of South African origin allegedly jumped from the balcony in the presence of the police team that had arrived to investigate the drugs case. The seriously injured woman was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
According to Delhi Police, this action was being taken as part of the investigation of an NDPS case. Police had received information that drug related activities were being conducted in a flat located in Swaroop Nagar. There was a stir in the area after the incident. Police, crime team and FSL team reached the spot and started investigation.

Important information was received from the accused arrested in Burari
According to Delhi Police, the investigation was taken forward after the arrest of accused Frank Dashmond in a case of NDPS Act registered at Burari police station. During interrogation, the police got information about the possible source of drugs.
On the basis of this information, the team of Anti Narcotics Squad of North District reached a flat located in Swaroop Nagar. This flat was in a building located near MCD school.
During the raid, the police arrested a person named Romeo alias Sky. It has been claimed that about 30 grams of MDMA and 1.5 grams of heroin have been recovered from his possession.
Foreign woman lived on the fourth floor
Police investigation revealed that many people of African origin were living on the third and fourth floors of the building. A woman named Stella Pius lived in a flat on the fourth floor.
According to the police, as soon as the team entered her flat, the woman allegedly jumped from the balcony. Immediately after the incident, he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
He was taken to Burari Government Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The police is now conducting a detailed investigation into this entire incident.
Angle of suspected drugs lab revealed
During investigation, the police found a key in the possession of Martin Aron, another African national living on the same floor. With this key a locked room of Stella Pius’s flat was opened. A large quantity of chemicals, beakers, pipes, sacks, electronic weighing machines and other equipment were found inside the room. Police suspect that this place was being used for manufacturing drugs or storing raw materials.
The police have sealed the items recovered from the flat and their forensic examination is being conducted. At the same time, from the same house where the woman of African origin died after jumping, the police have recovered a large quantity of suspicious chemicals and equipment including MDMA, which includes about 100 liters of spurious chemicals, 10 liters of hydrochloric acid, 31 bottles (15.5 litres) of hypophosphorous acid, 6 empty bottles, 35.5 kilograms of white powder, 21 kilograms of black granules, 4.1 kilograms of black liquid, 192 grams of MDMA. Contains Drug, 2 Heating Mantle, 2 Flask (2000 ml), 2 Distillation Units, 2 Weighing Machine, 4 Small Blue Drums, 1 Big 200 Liters Blue Drum, 3 Steel Tubs, 6 Half Blue Drums, 4 Capes, 3 Plastic Pipes, 1 Big Stove and 1 Gas Cylinder.
Cash and other items also found
According to police sources, a large amount of cash and other valuables were also found from the flat. The recovered material is being investigated to find out whether it is related to any big drugs network.
At present the case is being investigated by the Anti Narcotics Squad of North District. At the same time, investigation action is being taken by Swaroop Nagar police station regarding the death of the woman.
After the report of the crime team and FSL, further legal action will be taken in the entire matter. Police are also investigating for what purpose the recovered material was being used and who were the people involved in it.
