Police said 6 people were evacuated from the house, in which two died.
A fire broke out on Tuesday night in a house in Old Govindpura in Jagatpuri area of Delhi. Two people died in the accident. 4 people have been rescued. Two of them are injured. Shahdara’s DCP Prashant Gautam Fire said that the fire brigade was reported to be on fire at around 8.46 pm.
6 people were evacuated from the house. Of these, 4 people were injured, who were sent to Dr. Hedgewar Hospital. Doctors declared 2 dead. Two is undergoing treatment. The dead have been identified as Tanveer and Nusrat. The injured named Faizal and Asif are undergoing treatment.
A neighbor youth told the news agency IANS that the house used to be built in the house. The young man told, ‘I was sitting in my house. Suddenly some sounds of bursting started coming. We felt the thunderstorm. As soon as I opened the door, the flames started coming towards our house. We saved our lives by running on the roof.
6 fire engines control the fire According to the police, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The case is being investigated. Fire officer Deepak Hooda said that 6 fire engines had reached the spot after receiving information about the fire. The fire was controlled within an hour.
