Hamas Chief Haniyeh died on 31 July 2024 at around 2 am in a building in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Tensions have increased in the Middle East since the death of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Iran. Meanwhile, American media house Axios has claimed that according to US and Israeli officials, Iran can attack Israel today (August 5).

US Central Command Force Chief General Michael Kurella has reached Tel Aviv to help Israel in preparing to deal with Iran’s attack. In view of the threat, America has increased the deployment of its weapons in the Middle East.

According to the US Defense Department Pentagon, new fighter jets, destroyers and aircraft carriers are being sent to protect US soldiers stationed in the Middle East and Israel. America has promised that it will definitely protect Israel.

Blinken asked the foreign ministers of the G7 countries to exert diplomatic pressure on Iran, Hezbollah and Israel to maintain restraint.

America fears that Iran will attack in the next 24 to 48 hours
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the US Secretary of State discussed with the foreign ministers of the G7 countries to reduce tensions in the Middle East. American news website Axios has written quoting sources that in this meeting, Blinken told his allies that Iran-Hezbollah could attack Israel on Monday.

Blinken further said that we do not know the exact timing of the attacks, but we guess that it can start from Monday i.e. 24 to 48 in the next few days. Blinken has asked the foreign ministers of the G7 countries to put diplomatic pressure on Iran, Hezbollah and Israel to maintain restraint.

Jordan’s Foreign Minister arrives in Iran
Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi reached Iran’s capital Tehran on Sunday amid increasing Iranian attacks on Israel. He met Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani there. The two leaders discussed reducing the increasing tension in the Middle East. Safadi said that we want the tension to end.

Jordan is an ally of the US and Western countries. Jordan has several times thwarted missile and drone attacks on Israel by Iran.

According to the report of Wall Street Journal, Iran has rejected the peace proposal of America and Arab countries. Iran says that it will retaliate at any cost, even if it leads to war. The report also states that Hezbollah is preparing for a major attack on the Jewish country.

Safadi will also meet Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, where he will deliver a message from Jordan’s King Abdullah.

Biden said- don’t talk nonsense to me
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden had a heated argument. The two had a telephone conversation on Thursday after Haniyeh’s killing. According to the Times of Israel, during this time Biden told Netanyahu, “Don’t talk nonsense to me.”

The US President questioned Netanyahu on the timing of Haniyeh’s murder. He said that this has given a big blow to the ceasefire efforts. Netanyahu rejected all the allegations of Biden. Biden told Netanyahu not to underestimate the importance of the US President. According to reports, Israel did not inform the US about the plan to kill Haniyeh in Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Saturday evening that Hamas chief Haniyeh was killed by firing a short-range missile. This missile was loaded with 7 kg of explosives. Iran has described Haniyeh’s death as a terrorist incident.

Iran said – we will attack at the right time and at the right place
Iran has reiterated that the murder of Martyr Haniyeh will be avenged. The daring and terrorist Jewish regime will be severely punished. The IRGC said that we will take revenge at the right time and place.

According to Al Jazeera, Israel is still silent on this matter. Even after this statement of IRGC, no reaction has come till now. However, America has clarified that it had no information about the attack in Iran.

Amidst fears of Iran’s revenge, America has started increasing the number of warships and fighter jets in the Middle East.

The US aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt was in South Korea in June, it is now being sent to the Arabian Gulf.

Iran accuses America of supporting Israel
The IRGC statement said that this missile attack was carried out by Israel. The US government also supported it. This terrorist operation was carried out from outside the guest house where Haniyeh was staying.

On the day of Haniyeh’s death, Hamas spokesman and deputy chief Khalil al-Hayya also said that the house where Haniyeh was staying in Tehran was directly hit by a rocket.

While many media reports claimed that Haniyeh was killed by a bomb blast. The bomb was fitted in the Iranian guest house 2 to 3 months ago. Iranian intelligence officers were also involved in this. Iran has arrested 24 people in this case so far.
