Now it is being claimed that the web series ‘The Bads of Bollywood’ fame Rajat Bedi is being considered to be cast in place of Vikrant. According to Hindustan Times news, Farhan Akhtar has talked to Rajat Bedi for an important role in the film.

Hindustan Times news has published the news quoting a close source that Farhan Akhtar has chosen Rajat Bedi for the same important role, which was earlier to be played by Vikrant Massey. Official talks have taken place between Farhan Akhtar and Rajat Bedi regarding this.

According to the report of Bollywood Hungama in July 2025, Vikrant left the film due to lack of depth in the role and need of transformation. The names of Aditya Roy Kapur and Vijay Deverakonda also appeared in the reports, but there is no confirmation. There are also rumors of Hrithik Roshan taking the lead role after Ranveer Singh leaves the film.
