The police called Sandhya’s family members to identify the corpse after the initial investigation. Sandhya’s mother identified the evening with a tattoo made on her right hand and body sesame. There were also some jewelry in the pieces of the legs and hands, which were from Sandhya. The family broke down on hearing the news of the daughter’s death. Balakrishnan kept saying for a long time that his wife had left the house on January 19, but did not return again. When strictly done, he confessed that he had killed his wife after a quarrel on 20 January.

The quarrels increased so much that Sandhya, Balakrishnan and children left and started living with her family members. Balakrishnan was unable to raise the children alone, due to which he sent the children to brother Srinivasan.

In connection with the work, Sandhya started having a deep friendship with people associated with the film industry. Meanwhile, his friendship with a person increased considerably. At the same time, there were reports that the casting couch has taken place with Sandhya. When Balakrishna came to know about this, he was very angry. He suspected that Sandhya had an affair with someone. Fearing slander, he contacted Sandhya and said that he would get him work in films himself, but the condition was that Sandhya would have to come and stay with him. Sandhya agreed and started coming to Jafarpathan.

Over time, Balakrishna failed to get Sandhya work in films. Sandhya felt that she had been called home by lying. This was the reason that he decided to leave Balakrishna’s house on the night of 20 January. The husband tried hard to stop her, but when she did not agree, the matter reached the fight. After which Balakrishna stabbed Sandhya’s head with an ax.

Sandhya’s head could not be found despite the revelation of the murder. The police tried hard to find a head on Balakrishnan’s spot, but could not find a head in the dump yard amid thousands of tons of garbage. Today, even after 5 years of evening death, his head and left hand could not be found.
