Trump has said he is eliminating the possibility of negotiations with Iranian officials amid the crackdown on protests.

Today is the 18th day of ongoing violent protests in Iran. Meanwhile, Iran’s national security chief Ali Larijani described US President Donald Trump as the main murderer of the people of Iran. In a post on X, Ali also took the name of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called him another murderer.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has advised the people protesting in Iran to occupy government buildings. He wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Tuesday that the patriots of Iran should keep protesting and take control of their institutions.

Trump appealed to people to continue protesting and said help was on the way. Note down the names of those who are killing and torturing the protesters. They will have to pay a heavy price for this.

Trump also said he had canceled all meetings with Iranian officials. There will be no talks until the killings of protesters stop.

Funeral of protesters today

According to Iran’s Tasnim news agency, the funeral of people and security personnel killed in the protests on Wednesday will be held at Tehran University. According to Reuters news agency, the death toll in bloody protests in Iran has risen to 2,000 as of Tuesday.

Iran will publicly hang Irfan Sultan

Irfan Sultani, 26, was arrested by security agents in Karaj, a city northwest of Tehran, after joining the demonstration. The Iranian government announced that anyone arrested in the protests would be executed.

Irfan is to be hanged today. His punishment is Mohrebeh (waging war against God). No trial, no lawyers, the family will only get a last 10-minute meeting.

Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States would respond strongly if authorities in Iran begin executing people in a crackdown on a popular uprising against the government.

“If they do this, we will take very strong action,” he told CBS News in an interview, according to an AFP report.

Trump said- When they are killing thousands of people, you are telling me about hanging. We’ll see how it goes for them.

Secret meeting with Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi

According to American media report Axios, Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff met secretly with Iran’s exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi last week. This meeting took place quietly and no official information about it has been made public.

Reza Pahlavi is the son of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran. He left Iran in 1978, before his father’s ouster from power. Since then, he has been living mostly in America, especially in Los Angeles and Washington DC.

In his messages before the internet shutdown in Iran, Reza Pahlavi had said that he was ready to lead the process of change of power in the country. He has also talked about holding a referendum in Iran and change without violence.

The exiled crown prince believes Iran can become a constitutional monarchy, where rulers are elected by the people and not just on the basis of dynasty. In June last year, he wrote on the social media platform X that the only path to peace is a secular and democratic Iran.
