US President Donald Trump said on Monday that negotiations with Iran are continuing. He said that he is hopeful that a solution will be found. But if the talks remain inconclusive then America will again launch air strikes on Iran. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump claimed, “Iran has suffered huge losses in the last 14 days. Then they told us to stop the attacks and let’s talk.” However, Iran rejected this claim. Tehran says it has not initiated talks with America. This statement of Trump has come at a time when America has currently stopped air strikes on Iran. Talks are going on between the two countries through mediators, but agreement has still not been reached on many important issues including the Strait of Hormuz.
