US Congressman Brian Must has also proposed changing the airport’s three-letter code from PBI to DJT, which is Trump’s initials.

With the printing of new notes, the 165 year old tradition that has been going on since 1861 will also be broken. Till now the notes were signed only by the Finance Minister and the Treasurer of America. The Treasurer’s signature will be removed from these. According to the Finance Ministry, the first $100 notes bearing the signatures of Trump and Finance Minister Scott Besant will be printed in June and the remaining notes will be printed in the coming months.
Trump is building a library in Florida itself
Trump plans to build a presidential library in Miami, Florida. DeSantis tried to give land for this last year.

Opposition criticized the decision to change the name
Florida House Democratic leader Fenrice Driskell criticized the decision to change the name of the airport, saying it would cost taxpayers $5 million.
He said life in Florida is becoming increasingly expensive for working families and seniors. This is why Democrats worked on the agenda of reducing spending and saving more money in people’s pockets in this legislative session. But instead of working with us to advance these bills, Republican leaders prioritized spending $5 million of your taxes to rename an airport after the president.
