RMS Titanic Inc., the company that owns the ship, said that there is a gap of 4.6 meters, i.e., about 15 feet, in the port side railing. Only RMS Titanic has the right to recover the goods present on the ship.

A 3D scan of the ship and its surrounding area revealed that this part had fallen into the sea. This information was received after a mission went towards Titanic on 29 July.

In the film, the character of Jack was played by actor Leonardo and the character of Rose was played by actress Kat.
