10 members of his family and 4 colleagues were killed in the Indian attack in Bahawalpur. Those who died include her elder sister and her husband, Masood Azhar’s nephew and his wife, a niece of Masood and five of her children.

How did Masood Azhar survive and where is now?
Masood Azhar had been living in a campus named Markaj Subhanallah in Chowk Azam area of Bahawalpur for years.
Till 2011, there was only one mosque in this campus, after which the buildings and the rest of the structure on the campus for the training of terrorists and the rest of the activities continued to grow. Based on satellite images, its entire area is said to be 18 acres.
Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility after the Pulwama attack in February 2019. After this, on the demand of India, the United Nations put Masood in the list of global terrorists. On increasing international pressure, Pakistan had said that Jaish’s Bahawalpur headquarters have been captured by the government.
According to reports, Pakistan had increased the security of Masood. After the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan feared such a strike, so it is believed that Masood was already shifted from there.

Terrorist Azhar is the mastermind of Parliament attack

According to the charge sheet of Delhi Police in this case, Masood used Jaish-e-Mohammed cadre for attacks on India. He also attacked Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya in 2005 and CRPF personnel in Pulwama in 2019.

Masood Azhar came to India for the first time in 1994
Masood Azhar first reached Delhi from Dhaka riding in aircraft from Bangladesh on January 29, 1994. In 1994, Azhar entered Srinagar by creating a fake identity. His aim was Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami and Harkat-ul-Mujahideen groups to reduce tension.

Government of India left Azhar after aircraft hijack in 1999

Global terrorist declared in 2019
In October 2016, China again rescued Azhar in UNSC against India’s proposal. After this, in 2017, the US raised the demand to declare Azhar as a terrorist in UNSC, but China again came in the middle.
Finally, in May 2019, China removed its obstacle and Masood was declared a global terralerist in the UNSC.
