The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has today issued an alert of light rain with thunderstorm in 9 states including Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. However, the weather is expected to remain normal in most parts of the country from today. It rained in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Thursday. The temperature reached minus in Kumsairi, Kalpa and Keylong of Himachal. It rained in 7 districts of Uttarakhand including Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. Heat will increase in Madhya Pradesh from today. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may increase by 5 to 6 degrees. However, there is a possibility of rain, storm and thunder in some districts. The sky will be clear in Delhi-NCR. Day temperature can be between 32 to 34 degree Celsius and night temperature can be between 16 to 18 degree Celsius. North-westerly winds will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 km/hour during the day, due to which a slight coolness will be felt. The weather will remain clear in Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. Heat may increase due to strong sunlight during the day. Due to the changed weather for the last 20 days, there is a feeling of coldness in April also. Here, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka and Goa will remain hot and humid.
