Punjab Police has arrested 2 suspects in the blast case outside the Punjab BJP headquarters located in Sector-37, Chandigarh. He was arrested from Ropar.

The accused have been identified as Aman Singh alias Bholu and Gurtej Singh. Both of them are residents of village Rattangarh under police station Morinda of Rupnagar district.
