Jai Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, who were once a popular TV couple, have announced divorce on January 4. Since then, Mahi Vij has been continuously sharing cryptic posts on social media. However, after speculations, the actress has shared a picture with Jai and shared a post lashing out at the media.

Shortly after announcing the divorce on January 4, Mahi Vij wrote from the official Instagram account, ‘Become such a person, because of which people have faith in your good heart, beautiful soul and positive energy. Never stop being a good person.

In the next post he wrote, ‘If you think that people will do for you what you do for them, then in the end you will be very disappointed.’

Mahi Vij got angry after the reports of these cryptic posts of Mahi came out. She posted a picture with Jay Bhanushali on Monday afternoon, with which she wrote, ‘Yes, this is us, the media can stoop to any extent for likes and comments. My stories are not for just anyone. Stop making them dirty, just like your journalism is.

In the next post he wrote, ‘Come on, the media is finding something to post out of people’s chests. Cryptic post, hahaha. The condition is so bad, they even post videos of people’s undergarments.

Divorce announced on January 4

Jai and Mahi announced their divorce on January 4 through official Instagram. In a post he wrote,

Today we are choosing different paths in the journey of life, but we will continue to support each other. Peace, progress, kindness and humanity have always been a part of our thinking. We will remain good parents and good friends to our children Tara, Khushi and Rajveer. Will try his best to do whatever is right for him.

He further wrote, ‘Now our paths are different, but there is no villain in this story nor are there any negative emotions associated with this decision. Before jumping to any conclusions, please understand that we have chosen peace and understanding over drama and unrest in every situation. We will continue to respect each other, support each other and remain friends as we always have been. Expecting respect, love and kindness from you all moving forward.- Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali.

Jai and Mahi were married in the year 2011. Both of them adopted their house help’s children Rajveer and Khushi in 2017. Two years later, in 2019, Mahi gave birth to daughter Tara.
