The second match of the Test series between India and Sri Lanka is being played in Colombo. Tuesday is the third day of the match.
The match will start at 10:00 am at Sinhalese Sports Club. However, rain can affect it. Weather website Accuweather has forecast 92% rainfall in Colombo today.
Pant’s shoulder pain, Jurel said – can do wicketkeeping
India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel said after the end of the day’s play, ‘Pant has an injury on his right shoulder. Physio is taking care of him. He had a pain in his shoulder, so I kept wicket today. Hopefully he will be fit tomorrow.
Pant was injured on the first day too and he retired heart after 3 runs. After that Pant returned on Monday and scored 60 more runs. Pant had made a partnership of 112 runs with Jurel for the seventh wicket.
Bad start for Sri Lanka
The Sri Lankan team will start playing with a score of 8/2 in the first innings. Kamil Mishara will continue his innings with 5 runs.
Just before the end of the day’s play on Monday, Prabhat Jayasuriya was out after scoring 2 runs. He was LBW by Manav Suthar. Prasidh Krishna got Lahiru Udara (one run) caught.

Jurel-Padikkal scored centuries
On the first day of the match, India won the toss and chose to bat. He declared his first innings at the score of 503/9 runs.
Dhruv Jurel scored unbeaten 115 runs on 177 balls. Devdutt Padikkal contributed 117 runs. Captain Shubhman Gill and Rishabh Pant scored fifties.
