BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut recently attacked Congress during the discussion on Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha. Kangana said, ‘When I got the ticket in 2024, my photo was put and below it the Congress spokesperson wrote – What is the mood going on in the market.’ He said, ‘Speaker, I am an artist. I have played all types of characters, from a warrior like Rani Laxmibai to a lost girl in Gangster, a drug addict in Fashion, a sex worker in Rajjo and a leader in Thalaivi, for which I have also received national honours. He further said, ‘It is the duty of an artist to completely immerse himself in every art and character. But using my film character and picture, he wrote below, ‘What are the feelings of the girls of Mandi.’ Kangana is the MP from Mandi. Kangana Ranaut is the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal Pradesh since 2024. Let us tell you that on March 24, the next day after Kangana was declared a candidate in the year 2024, it was written from the Instagram handle of Congress leader Supriya Srinet along with Kangana’s picture, ‘What is the situation, someone in the market will tell.’ After Supriya’s post, Kangana shared the screenshot and wrote on From an innocent girl in Queen to a spy in Dhaakad, from a goddess in Manikarnika to a demon in Chandramukhi. He further wrote, ‘From a prostitute in Rajjo to a revolutionary leader in Thalaivi. We should free our daughters from the shackles of prejudice. We must rise above being curious about women’s body parts. We should also avoid using such abusive words to describe the challenging lives or circumstances of sex workers. Every woman deserves her dignity…’ While Supriya had given clarification, Supriya had said regarding this post, ‘Many people have access to my Facebook and Insta accounts. One of these people had posted a very disgusting and objectionable post today. As soon as I came to know about this, I removed that post. Anyone who knows me knows very well that I do not take anything personal for any woman. ‘It has come to my knowledge that this post was earlier running on a parody account (@Supriyaparody). Someone picked up this post from here and posted it on my account. I am trying to identify the person who did this. The parody account created by misusing my name has also been reported in X.
