Unknown killers roasted with bullets, wife Amarjot was also killed

8 March 1988, Amar Singh Chamkila, along with his wife Amarjot and 3 companions, arrived to perform at a wedding in Mahmgaon near Phillaur. As soon as 27 -year -old Amar Singh came out of the car with his comrades, some unknown people started firing indiscriminately on him. Amar Singh Chamkila, his wife Amarjot, fellow Baldev and Ranjit were killed in this attack, while a companion was injured.

Many theory surfaced after death, not found killers
