In a wedding in Uttar Pradesh, paneer, pulao and many other dishes were prepared. The bride’s father did as much as he could. But these arrangements did not please the groom and his father. They wanted something else. They wanted fish and meat in the meal. The matter escalated so much that the boy’s relatives kicked and punched the bride’s family and even beat them with sticks. The marriage was refused and the groom left the mandap.
