On Tuesday evening, a special traffic checking campaign was conducted at Govindpuri intersection on the orders of Chief Judicial Magistrate Prashant Pandey. During checking, the traffic police stopped the cars of MLA, Assembly representative Karaira Shivpuri and former Chairman Municipal Council Jhundpura Morena. Apart from this, the car of Congress District President Rural Prabhudayal Johare was also stopped.
All the above mentioned people tried to use their status, but it did not work and after seeing the magistrate checking, they paid fine and left the spot with their car.
When the police removed ten hooters installed on the cars, black film was removed from the same ten cars. Similarly, modified silencers were also removed from 8 motorcycles. During checking, a fine of Rs 1 lakh 12 thousand was collected from 72 vehicles. The checking took place under the guidance of Judicial Magistrate First Class Saksham Narula, Bhupendra Singh Kushwaha, Vishal Jethwa and Mansi Baluja.
