Well-known folk singer Sharda Sinha passed away on Tuesday. He breathed his last at the age of 72 in AIIMS, Delhi. Sharda Sinha’s health suddenly deteriorated on Monday, after which she was put on ventilator support. She was also called ‘Swar Kokila’ of Bihar. Sharda Sinha had given her voice to all the Chhath songs. There is a wave of mourning in the country due to his departure from this world during Chhath festival.
