Maharashtra New CM: 12 days after the results of Maharashtra elections, it has finally been decided who will be the new Chief Minister. Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as Chief Minister on Thursday. Devendra Fadnavis was elected the leader of the legislative party in the legislative party meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. Chandrakant Patil and Sudhir Mungantiwar proposed the name, which was supported by Pankaja Munde. Devendra Fadnavis along with Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and NCP leader Ajit Pawar have staked claim to form the government in front of Governor CP Radhakrishnan. During this, BJP observers Vijay Rupani and Nirmala Sitharaman were also present. Now on Thursday (5th December) the oath taking program will be held at Azad Maidan at 5:30 pm. 2 Deputy CMs will also take oath along with the CM tomorrow.
