In the government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, the mob vandalized some rooms and 18 departments. The police have so far arrested 19 people in this case. The Calcutta High Court said that the government should provide proof that the crime scene was not tampered with.
